Privacy Policy
Who we are
MOGUL — Empire Tycoon ("the app", "MOGUL") is published under the trade name Sclitifyit ("we", "us"), which is owned and operated by:
STROESCU CONSTANTIN-CATALIN PFA
CUI (Tax ID): 51846706
B-dul Bucureștii Noi 136, et. parter, ap. 5
Sector 1, București, Romania
This entity is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), although — as explained below — the app does not actually collect personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains how MOGUL handles user data across its supported platforms: iOS, Android, and Web.
Information we do not collect
The app does not collect or transmit any of the following:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
- Device identifiers (advertising ID, IMEI, IP address)
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, files, microphone, or camera data
- Analytics, telemetry, or crash reports
- Advertising data (the app contains no ads)
- Login credentials (the app has no user accounts)
- Multiplayer, PvP, or leaderboard data (the app is single-player only)
Information stored on your device
Your game progress — player profile, businesses, employees, market positions, software products, real estate, lifestyle, achievements, and inbox — is saved entirely on-device. Specifically:
-
On the web build, save data lives in your browser's
localStorage. -
On iOS and Android, save data is stored as
encrypted files under the app's private
Documents/mogul_saves/directory (managed via Flutter'spath_provider).
These files never leave your device. They are not uploaded, synced, or backed up to any server we operate.
If you uninstall the app on iOS or Android, this save data is deleted by the operating system along with it. If you clear site data in your browser, the web build's save data is removed. We have no ability to recover or restore it.
In-app purchases
MOGUL offers one optional, one-time non-consumable purchase called "Creator Mode" (US $9.99). Payment is processed entirely by Google Play (on Android) or the App Store (on iOS). We never see your payment information, billing address, or store account details.
We use RevenueCat for receipt validation. As part of confirming that the purchase is genuine, RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous app-install identifier and the purchase receipt returned by the platform store. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any in-game data. For details on how RevenueCat handles this information, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
For questions about how Google or Apple handle your payment data, see:
Tamper detection (Android)
On Android, the app verifies the installer source and the signing certificate of the running build locally, to detect tampered or repackaged copies of MOGUL. This check happens entirely on-device; no data is transmitted as part of it.
Children
MOGUL is rated for general audiences but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from any user, regardless of age. Because the app collects no data at all, it complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations such as the UK Age-Appropriate Design Code and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K).
Age-appropriateness of the game's content (themes, language, in-app purchase) is indicated by the rating on the app's store listing. Parents should review the store rating before letting children download the app.
Third-party services
The app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, marketing, or social-media SDK. The only third parties involved are the platform stores that distribute the app and process purchases (Google Play and Apple App Store), and RevenueCat, which is used solely to validate purchase receipts as described above.
Data sharing
We do not collect data, and therefore we do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose any user data to third parties. Ever.
Your controls
- iOS and Android: deleting the app removes all local saves from the device.
- Web: clearing site data for the page that hosts the app removes all local saves from your browser.
- No server-side account: there is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we don't have an account for you in the first place.
Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to know what personal data a company holds about you, to request deletion, and to request a copy. Because MOGUL collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to disclose, export, or delete on request. If you'd like us to confirm this in writing for your records, email the address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. Material changes that affect how we treat data (if that ever happens) will also be announced in the app's release notes on Google Play and the App Store.
